Five years of experience across industrial automation and enterprise insurance software, focused on REST APIs, integrations, backend services, and applied RAG systems.
I recently relocated from Italy to Málaga to start a new chapter in an international environment.
I build backend systems, integrations, and data flows, with a focus on clarity, testing, and maintainability. I enjoy understanding how the different parts of a process connect and taking ownership from the initial idea through to delivery.
My current independent project, Document Intelligent Hub started with a practical question: how can private documents be made searchable without giving up control over the data? I’m using it to learn by building and to explore how applied RAG can support useful, source-grounded tools.
Outside software, I’m involved in animal-rights activism, calisthenics, and tabletop role-playing games.
2023 — 2025
Developed an enterprise insurance claim automation system using Python, AWS Lambda, and hexagonal architecture, implementing business logic, integrations, and tests with Pydantic and pytest. Later maintained a Spring Boot application for a major insurance company within an international enterprise environment.
2019 — 2022
Served as the main IT-oriented software developer within a PLC engineering department, building Python and Flask tools around industrial machinery. Developed an S7 integration layer, automated data logging, and reusable configuration-driven workflows, and developed a YOLOv5-based industrial recognition system in collaboration with an AI engineer.
Independent project · 2025–Present
A backend-heavy RAG application for uploading, processing, and querying private document collections with source-grounded answers, built with FastAPI, ChromaDB, LangChain, Next.js, and Firebase.
Experimental
A local code-quality dashboard that runs Python and TypeScript static-analysis tools and streams normalised findings to a web interface.
